BabyRound + Social (newborn - 8 months) Marlton-Mt. Laurel: Melody Makers Music Academy 105 Evesboro-Medford Rd. Pennington only: This special, 4-week, 45-minute, class offering for babies 8 months and younger along with their parent or caregiver is an introduction to the delights and benefits of music for babies. You will be amazed how musical your baby is and how you can help develop your baby’s inborn musical virtuoso. Enjoy a 30-minute, age-appropriate music class led by a trained Kids’ MusicRound instructor followed by 15 minutes of social networking. Share your experiences with other young parents and make new friends. This class includes a CD and access to the parent portal for MP3 downloads. $75	Saturday			Simmons, Chris Simmons, Chris Chris holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Rowan University. His primary instrument was Voice; he performed with the Men’s Choir for two years, the Concert Choir for four years, and took eight semesters of voice lessons, which culminated in a senior recital. In addition to his academic performance history, he has also performed in several local bands, as lead singer and bassist, as well as written and performed original works as a solo musician. His teaching experience goes back to 2014. He worked as a general music teacher at a charter school in Trenton, NJ, but left to pursue his passion for private music teaching in 2017. Throughout his career, he has served the South Jersey area, including Marlton, Cherry Hill, Medford, and Collingswood.
MusicRound® (Newborn - 5) Marlton-Mt. Laurel: Melody Makers Music Academy 105 Evesboro-Medford Rd. A music and movement class for infants, toddlers and preschoolers that includes activities designed to promote musical learning across ages. In our signature mixed-age class, infants, toddlers, and preschoolers along with their parents or caregivers join together as a musical community. Activities include playing rhythm instruments, having fun with finger plays, and singing and dancing to music of different meters and tonalities. A mixed-age setting allows children the freedom to develop basic skills like singing in tune and keeping an accurate beat at their own pace. Since there is no set age for these skills to be acquired, these classes provide a non-performance opportunity for musical exploration that the whole family can enjoy.
