Schwartz, Marilyn

Marilyn Schwartz, Director of Kids’ MusicRound, PA and co-author of the Kids’ MusicRound curriculum, received her B.A. from Hofstra University where she studied music and theatre. She plays the cello and has performed with various orchestras. For many years in New York, she worked, managing David Bowie and John Cougar Mellencamp and was busy in the rock music world. After having her second daughter, Marilyn moved out of New York and began a new life teaching music in a local preschool and discovered what a joy it was working with music and young children. She continued her early childhood music training at the Center for Music and Young Children in Princeton. She has the time of her life running Kids’ MusicRound classes. It has meant so much to make a difference in the lives of so many amazing people.
