Hello there old friends and new! Welcome to Kids' MusicRound with Miss Jen! Our KMR classes are designed to guide children through the stages of early childhood music development to achievement of basic music competence. The highly researched music class curriculum sparks the inner musician in everyone, while also stimulating your child’s physical, intellectual, linguistic, and social development, promoting strong attachment between you and your child, and introducing you to other families in your community. We use rhythm, movement, instruments, and props to foster a creative musical atmosphere. The best part is that in participating and following our lead, the children are actually doing amazing things for their brain development! We offer Infant-Only (calmer, less physically demanding) classes and Mixed Age classes (birth-4+) to best suit you and your child. With each semester, your family receives a CD and a digital download full of that semester's music so you can take the fun of music class back home with you.

Our classes are committed to inclusivity and diversity - all are welcome!

Each class is approximately 45 minutes long. Registration occurs towards the beginning of the semester, and our various package options allow you to choose how often you’d like to attend (1 class/wk or UNLIMITED). You can register right on this page!

MusicRound® (Newborn - 5) Cherry Hill: Temple Beth Sholom 1901 Kresson Road A music and movement class for infants, toddlers and preschoolers that includes activities designed to promote musical learning across ages. In our signature mixed-age class, infants, toddlers, and preschoolers along with their parents or caregivers join together as a musical community. Activities include playing rhythm instruments, having fun with finger plays, and singing and dancing to music of different meters and tonalities. A mixed-age setting allows children the freedom to develop basic skills like singing in tune and keeping an accurate beat at their own pace. Since there is no set age for these skills to be acquired, these classes provide a non-performance opportunity for musical exploration that the whole family can enjoy. Music was a joyful part of her childhood and has over into a love of sharing that joy with children. With a background in neurological nursing, Jen is very familiar with the science of brain development and is enthusiastic about the positive effects of music on a children's intellectual and physical growth. After three years of teaching toddlers in a preschool setting, Jen has decided to focus specifically on what she loves best about teaching: sharing a love of music with children.

BabyRound (Newborn - 8 Months) Cherry Hill: Temple Beth Sholom 1901 Kresson Road A mommy-and-me-style music class designed to meet the developmental needs of newborns and infants through interaction with a parent or caregiver. Of course babies can't jump up and dance but there are wonderful and rewarding ways in which they will respond when their innate musical curiosity is stimulated. Your heart will swell as you watch your baby joyfully discover their new world through music.
