Spring Music 2026

Come and join all the fun in Burbank where Ms. Frankie makes learning about music and movement a full body experience. This class is designed for infants, toddlers, preschoolers and their grownup. Through play we will begin your child's musical journey with songs from around the world, giggle filled movement activities and hands-on exploration so important to their musical and personal development.

Everyone in class will be singing, laughing, dancing, playing instruments, and learning with our award-winning curriculum. We don't just create a joy filled space for music, we also build coordination, confidence, creativity, and a perfect place to make and meet new friends for all ages - even our grownups! MusicRound® (Newborn - 5) Burbank: Burbank First United Methodist Nursery School 700 N Glenoaks Blvd. Burbank, CA 91502 A music and movement class for infants, toddlers and preschoolers that includes activities designed to promote musical learning across ages. In our signature mixed-age class, infants, toddlers, and preschoolers along with their parents or caregivers join together as a musical community. Activities include playing rhythm instruments, having fun with finger plays, and singing and dancing to music of different meters and tonalities. A mixed-age setting allows children the freedom to develop basic skills like singing in tune and keeping an accurate beat at their own pace. Since there is no set age for these skills to be acquired, these classes provide a non-performance opportunity for musical exploration that the whole family can enjoy. A born performer, Frankie learned at an early age that if something is worth doing, it's worth doing well. At the age of five she surprised her parents on a trip to the local music store by sitting down at one of the pianos on display and playing the song they had just heard on the car radio. That week she started taking piano lessons and never looked back. Adding composition, dance, voice, violin, organ, percussion, and stage acting to her repertoire as well as several composition and performance awards she pursued a music performance degree and a career in music. She has performed and competed around the world but her favorite musical performance memory was playing with the Utah Symphony at Zion's National Park Amphitheater when she was only twelve years old. After that experience she was so inspired that she started teaching her own private piano lessons and had a thriving studio until she left for college.
