Since graduating from St. John Vianney, my goals have been to continue to further my musical interests in both the performing and teaching areas. In the professional realm, I have been a studio musician, and toured with such groups as Hip Hop Legends “Sugar Hill Gang,” “The David Bowie Band,” and touring the country with pop rock band “Sum 41.” I have also spent time in Nashville, Tenn., employed part-time by Sony Records as a ghost writer in early 2016.
My main interests, however, are in the teaching areas of music, particularly with younger students, and children with learning disabilities. I have been employed for the past 11 years at the Music Place in Sea Girt, where I taught a variety of musical instruments, as well as voice. While there, I spent considerable time with my younger autistic students. My goal with these students was to introduce them to the musical arts, along with inspiring them to create music with various instruments and their voices. I also worked as a private music teacher at “Big Beat Studio” in Neptune City, NJ.
I absolutely love working with children, and I’m very happy to be a part of the Sunny Days team and Kids’ MusicRound team!
